To kick off the Fall 2017 season, the Lady Raiders didn't have to travel far, trying to take the top spot in Franklin ,Tennessee. 

Lady Raiders traveled to South Carolina this week to take the lead at the Lady Paladin Invitational. 

MTSU traveled to Columbia, Missouri to take on fellow C-USA and SEC rivals, with Mizzou hosting.

Lady Raiders ended their fall season in San Antonio, just falling short.

In spare time, I enjoy writing about personal events/mental health for Vocal, a free site for anyone to write about anything they want. I enjoy it to wind down and I enjoy sharing my own personal stories.

I told my personal story about being in a emotionally abusive relationship and what it's like to move on and eventually get into a healthy, loving relationship. It's totally possible. 

Anxiety seems to be something that a lot of people deal with, more than we realize. I talk about what it's like when you are dealing with it, and what to do to get yourself out of it, from personal experience. 

Cue the saying "I wish I knew then what I know now". 

Don't always listen to the ugly voices in your head.

Hanley Long, a senior at MTSU, is heading into her final spring season, but her goals haven't changed. 

Columbia is an eclectic city with lots of history and filled with residents who couldn't dream of ever leaving. For the last two years, the city adapted First Fridays, an event that keeps the shops open late and free music and food trucks as far as the eye can see.

In Columbia, one of the most Instagram-able places exists, flower fields in the spring with tulips, and sunflowers in the fall. A family owned farm that is happy to serve the community. 

Governor Lee addressed new topics like criminal reform, education reform and open Government while at the TPA Convention in the late winter. 

During the 111th General Assembly, the hottest topic was school vouchers being implemented in the largest cities in Tennessee. But, with new ideas comes backlash. Just how well will this benefit children of the state of Tennessee?
