Columbia Farmer's Market
In September 2017, I covered a Saturday at the Columbia Farmer's Market. I learned more about the market itself, the farmers and vendors that attend every single weekend from May to October, and about everything that they sell.
Small Town Music Fests & Their Impact
Music is something everyone can enjoy, whether you are from Chicago to LA, everyone enjoys music. Music has not only brought happiness, it also unites people under one thing they can all agree on. Music is centered around a lot of things we do here in Middle Tennessee, and it’s just not in Nashville. Little festivals held like First Fridays in Columbia, Tennessee brings out the whole community to enjoy the local shops, but mainly to hear the local and out of town musicians bring forth their talents to bestow upon us. It not only brings growth in the economy in the town, but a growth in the community to bring it together.
Bleed Blue to beat WKU
From November 13th to November 15th, MTSU held their annual blood drive in competition with Western Kentucky University, "Bleed Blue To Beat WKU". This blood drive is one of the biggest the community holds, with people from not only the campus to community members volunteering their time to help and donate for people in need.
